Description of Secondary Control Reserve

Description of Secondary Control Reserve

In order to introduce market mechanisms to secondary control reserve, a tender is held for the volume of energy supplied by a secondary control reserve supplier within one week. Inaccordance with market rules, the power supplied or returned ex post is aggregated weekly by APCS in the right direction by receipt and supply, and returned to the producer in the form of a barter exchange.
A revaluation is conducted within the course of this tender for the returns. The energy volumes supplied for secondary control reserve is returned to the producers in the form of peak load products. Power producers receiving secondary control reserve must return half of the volume received in the form of basic load products.
