MSCONS Converter

Since the start of the liberalization of the electricity market, grid operators have had the task of processing and sending data (esp. consumer and producer figures). These data are an important base for the monthly clearing of APCS and are indispensable for the transparency of the Austrian energy market.

In order to support grid operators in accomplishing this task, smart technologies has developed a converter. With the help of this program, large volumes of information flows can be monitored, as required by the Other Market Rules. The data format is MSCONS, which is used mainly for the transmission of so-called "metered values".

The converter has been designed for small grid operators and should be installed only by qualified staff. The installation is done at the risk of the operator – no type of liability at all is assumed. Please also take note of the system requirements.
