Technical Clearing
The determination of balancing energy is one of the main tasks of APCS.
The balancing energy is determined for every quarter of an hour in the balance area per balance group (in the middle of the month following the settlement month), with the data required being sent by dealers, suppliers and grid operators via an Internet-based system to APCS. The precise surveillance and effective control of clearing is done by the clearing manager of APCS.
To enable market participants to view their data, an Internet-based clearingplatform has been made available. Before you can use the clearingplatform, it is necessary to adjust some settings in your browser and/or your computer.
